Welcome to the Academics, Research and Student Affairs (ARS) division.

As the Deputy Vice Chancellor in charge of Academic, Research and Student affairs, I will endeavour to drive and streamline the creation of entrepreneurial mindset required in our student and staff and by cooperation with corporate clients to get the unlimited possibilities and create new opportunities for the IU fraternity.
Thee three main tasks under the academic, research and student affairs (ARS) division are:

• Development of industry and market driven academic programmes and content using the state of art of technology in delivery.
• Development of research capability for staff and students and application in research in solving practical problems.
• Creating the enterprise mindset for staff and students by involvement in business incubation activities for industry government and the community at large.

As Deputy Vice Chancellor Administration,Planning and Development my role at IU is to provide strategic leadership and management oversight in the areas of strategy, human resources development, administration and policy compliance in line with the university's vision mission and values.

We shall therefore endeavor to ensure that IU not only achieves its strategic objectives but also remains relevant and up to date in terms of human resources development, operations and policies.
