Hewlett Packard (HP) invited IU to participate in a Request for Proposals for “HP Innovations in Education Grants for higher education institutions.
IU then known as KSPS presented its proposal on 31st March 2009 to Hewlett Packard HP and was selected as one of the winners in May 2009, one among a total of five other winners in Africa.
